Tricia Buchanan-Benson

Since writing a letter to Walt Disney asking what it took to become an animator at 11 years old, Tricia Buchanan-Benson has always wanted to be an artist. The fact that Disney actually wrote back with the advice and information she was seeking only made Buchanan-Benson's dreams easier to achieve. Graduating Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Film -- there was no Animation degree available at the time -- Buchanan-Benson was soon discovered at an animation seminar when she was asked to test as an artist for "The Simpsons" TV show. Before the day was over, she was asked to join the team and, needless to say, Buchanan-Benson has never looked back.

Inspired by Art Nouveau and all things Disney, Buchanan-Benson has also created artwork for King of the Hill and Dilbert in addition to her delightful Disney creations.
