Sandra Kuck

Ohio-born and California-raised artist Sandra Kuck spent some time in the Navy and married her cop-turned-detective husband John in 1965 while the Vietnam War was still raging. So it's a little surprising that Kuck is famous for her genteel, ethereal portraits of utterly adorable angels and little girls, and mother-with-child masterpieces. A UCLA grad and member of New York's Art Student League, Sandra Kuck worked steadily as an artist with the support of her husband, and by 1983, was recognized by the prestigious National Association of Limited Edition Dealers as one of the most promising and talented artists in America. Awarded an unprecedented seven times as Artist of the Year by NALED, as well as garnering praise for Plate of the Year and Print of the Year, Kuck continues to create Romantic Realist artwork that is collected and cherished worldwide. Shy by nature, and thoroughly enjoying her role as a grandmother these days, Kuck works from her home studio in Florida surrounded by her family.
