R. Albert is a Hungarian artist, born in 1929 in Budapest. He is the son of a well known portrait painter and the nephew of an architect. Thus he showed artistic talent even at an early age and after completing school he went on to study art in Budapest and later Vienna, Austria. He is best known for his snowy forest scenes which he painted in the early 1970's.
