Evgeny Lushpin is a Russian painter born in Moscow in 1966. He studied art at MGPU and Moscow State University of Arts, and is a permanent member of international art fairs in Russia, the U.S., and Norway.

Lushpin's work is known for its realistic, photo-like style. His paintings are said to transport viewers to a time and place of his choosing, and are influenced by European and Russian art, old master techniques, and imaginative art.

His work often features rooftops, which represent the theme of fairy tales from his childhood. His favorite artists include Andrew Wyeth, Edward Hopper, and Piter Bruegel.
