Peter Kuttner was born and raised near Boston, Massachusetts. After earning his BFA from the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, Kuttner worked as the Art Director for New Life Films and later led the graphics department of the National Museum of American Illustration. Later, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where he began to paint full-time. Kuttner's extensive background in illustration is evident in his paintings - indeed, his works are both complex and multi-dimensional. Using the desert and its natural beauty as inspiration, Kuttner’s pieces abstractly capture unique moments in time and place.
