Delaram Gilani was born in Iran and raised in Dubai for 27 years where she trained in abstract painting. Her paintings have sold in Iran and Dubai and have been featured in various galleries. Gilani enjoys creating new and exciting work, and her collections continue to be promoted by Interior Designers throughout the Middle East and Europe.

Her latest abstract painting collection is called, “Evil Eye”. Viewed as a superstitious symbol in many cultures, the "EVIL EYE" has various meanings to people around the world. Some areas of the globe embrace it, while others live in fear of the eye because of its associations with bad luck, spells and pure evil. This inspired collection consists of rare and unique acrylic paintings on canvas that pay homage to the past and present global meaning of the evil eye.
