Born and raised in the upper east side of Manhattan and a graduate of NYU, Kathrine has been retired for over 30 years as the former Art Director of Look Magazine. Working closely in the 1960’s with such artists as Warhol and Peter Max her opinions were respected as gospel now through a mostly local following she has gained the same acclaim as an artist.Her works have been displayed and sold at a gallery in the prestigious mall in Bal- Harbor Florida and have been purchased and collected by many of the famous from near by South Beach. Her famous Poker Cards are her way on focusing and expressing what she feels is almost a cult following to an ordinary card game. About her body of work, Katherine states that “My early years of life flew by with only memories, now I capture what I see in my art for others”
