Contemporary French landscape painter and lithographer, Guy Charon has displayed his works in well known Paris salons such as Salon de la Nationale des Beaux-Arts, Salon des Independants, Salon d'Automne and Ecole de Paris since 1954. Since 1956 his paintings and lithographs have been featured in many solo exhibitions in France, the United States, Venezuela, Switzerland, Monaco, Norway, Sweden and Japan. Today Charon's art is kept in numerous private and public collections all over the globe, including the Musee de Saint-Cyrien, the Musee de Petit-Palais, Geneva, Switzerland, the Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris, and the Musee d'Art moderne de la Ville de Paris. Charon has also been the subject of French film documentaries in 1960, 1983 and 1985.
