Elvira Kairiukstyte

Born December 15, 1950 in Lithuanian, Elvira Kairiukstyte’s occupies an important page in the history of Lithuanian graphic arts. Elvira’s tremendous legacy includes engravings, prints, and thousands of drawings and sketches. Influenced by Pablo Picasso, Edvard Munch, and other modernist artists, Elvira’s style is dominated by abstract portraits and figure compositions.

Elvira Kairiukstyte participated in exhibitions in both her home country of Lithuania, as well as abroad in Moscow, Canada, Sweden, Hungary and Norway. Her work has been exhibited in the Lithuanian Art Museum. She passed in 2006.
