Born in 1945 in Germany, C. Karopka grew up in an artistic family; her father was the well-known artist Branntler. Entirely self-taught, Karopka is best known for painting beautiful scenes of European castles, boats, and landscapes. Karopka has exhibited her work across Europe and the United States.
