Born in Augusta, Georgia in 1970, Thomas Finch was an early artistic talent. Passionate about drawing as a child, he would much rather do that than play with friends. Sketching and drawing throughout his schools years, Finch finally attended the University of Georgia and was awarded a degree in Fine Arts, with a concentration in Painting. After commencement, Finch traveled in Europe for six month, during which period he hardly painted at all. Instead, he spend his time visiting the cities and studying the artwork of European masters. This results of this study became apparent when Finch returned to the United States and began painting again.

Based in Atlanta, Finch is a member of the Deljou Art Group and shows his work throughout the southeast and it is collected across the country.
