Sue Bell

Fine art photographer Sue Bell is an American artist best known for her highly saturated, painterly-like style. Bell’s work has won several national awards and she has been the topic of many literary discussions for her outstanding portraiture. Bell creates works that highlight the beauty and color within natural environment. Her style captures the unique grace and structure of each and portrays even the most subtle of movement within each subject.

Bell discovered her love for art and photography in her youth. She was able to hone her talent while interning with the talented photojournalists at the Enterprise in California. One of her earliest assignments included photographing then-president Ronald Reagan, who was visiting the city of Simi Valley, California.

Both man and nature evoke movement, history and the momentary unfolding of nature. Bell’s most beloved subjects continue to intrigue and inform her work. Reflections on nature are some of her most sough-after work. This is the first time her personal collection has been available to the public.
