Rumeal Popik a was born in Youngstown, Ohio. He was the oldest child born to Polish immigrants. As a young adult he worked as an apprentice to a machinist. He went on to study Fine arts and Painting at the University of Akron. Popik's works have bee exhibited in various collections within the US and abroad.
