Born in Kowloon, China in 1970, Onan Balin spent hours of his childhood in his room drawing. Although he always continued this passion as a hobby, Balin attended Shandong University with an eye on a career in Finance. It was this career that led Balin to the United States in the 1990s, a country whose atmosphere was liberating compared to his life in China. This gave Balin the opportunity to indulge his artistic passions and allow his artwork to be a major focus in his life.

Balin’s work is exhibited around the country and is collected both here and internationally.
