Believing that a landscape artist does well to live in an area surrounded by stellar views, American born artist Michael Sharp has been living in the southeastern state of Georgia since 2001 with his wife. An East-Coaster by nature, Sharp was born in a small town in New York State, and began drawing and painting from the time he was a young child, going on to earn his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in Illustration. After some experience in the working world as an illustrator and designer, Sharp has embraced the lushness of country living on a spacious property 'off the beaten track', which remains a constantly awe-inspiring backdrop to the wonderful landscape works he creates.
