Michael Carlo was born in 1945 in Glemsford, Suffolk. He studied at Colchester School of Art and then at the Royal College of Art where he won great distinctions as a student. He is a master screenprinter and he has created his own technique. His work is displayed in many private and public collections, including the Bank of England, Bank of America, and the Tate Gallery. He was recently elected as a member of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers.
