Martí Bofarull was born in Molins de Rei in Barcelona, Spain in 1965 to a family of artist. Painter Carmen Sala, was both his grandmother and his most significant teacher. She was the first to teach Martí about the different methods of painting, composition and perspective. By the age of 16, Bofarull attended the Massano School of Barcelona, where he focused on painting. He was also taught the arts of serigraphy, photography and engraving, which expanded his creativity. Bofarull has been both an exhibitor and teacher of fine art. He has earned numerous awards for his works.
