Ruth Bush, who uses the nom de plume "M. Lentz" when painting works that focus on light, color and texture obtained her Advertising Art degree from Kutztown University located Pennsylvania Dutch Country. She has worked as a designer in the corporate art departments of well known companies such as Bank of America, and Hasbro Toys. When Bush decided to pursue painting, she began designing pieces for Phoenix Art Group, an art studio that caters to top interior designers, and art galleries.

Ruth Bush learned that there was a great deal of importance in painting a variety of styles so that varying demands for different taste could be met. Upon realizing this she developed several different styles, and issued each an exclusive pen name. Her styles range from traditional old world imagery to abstract contemporary works.
