M. H. Bradsher

Born and raised in Oklahoma, M. H. (Michelle Hammond) Bradsher is known for her remarkable paintings inspired by science and nature. Bradsher attended Rodgers State University in Claremore, Oklahoma, where she was frequently commended for her academic achievements as well as her artistic talents. During her time there she was presented with the Presidential Purchase Award and the Art Scholar Award and she was also on the National Dean’s List.

Since her graduation, Bradsher has begun reaching an even wider audience for her artwork. Primarily painting in oil on canvas, her work expresses her love for science and nature as well as her personal interests in Far Eastern thought and Native American spirituality. To create her paintings, she uses a combination of field work, riding her horse in the rural beauty of northeast Oklahoma, and studio time to create a balance of natural beauty and skilled techniques. As Bradsher explains, “Art should represent the balance humanity desperately needs to find. We should seek, on both a personal level and as a society, a balance between … the intuitive and the intellectual.”

Awing viewers with harmonious creations full of vibration and movement, M. H. Bradsher’s paintings can be found in private and public collections from California to Rhode Island, as well as in Europe.
