Growing up in Buenos Aires, Lisandro Lopez was given the opportunity to pursue his passion in the arts; he studied at both the Pan American School of Art and the School of Fine Arts. Lopez decided to paint full-time in 1971, and this has allowed him to travel the world in search of new inspiration and places to display his art. When Lopez came to the United States in 1977, he began to paint the different places that he visited. Lopez’s palette knife paintings have been well-received in the United States and they have been shown in galleries across the country.
