Lee Herring received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Art Education degrees from East Texas State and went on to teach art in public schools throughout the U.S. and Australia. Through an education grant from the Australian Department of Education, he was able to teach Aborigines fine art. His Southwest art is highly collectable because of its thematic appeal and realistic depictions. He is a member of the Texas Area Professional Artists and resides in North Texas.
