Painting in the 1970s, J. H. Landwehr was a German artist, born in Jena in 1920. He studied at the Academy of Arts under Professor Muggli. He later moved to Munich, where he continued his artistic studies with Professor Neufang. In addition to his formal education he spent time touring Europe, spending 2 years in Rome, 4 years in Paris as well as a short time in Holland. He is best known for his wildlife paintings. He has been exhibited with The House of Interior Design.
