Glen Fortune Banse

Glen Fortune Banse was born in Camden, New Jersey in 1948. he attended Ottawa University, Kansas State and New School for Social Research in New York City. Banse was also personal assistant to Buffalo Bob Smith of Howdy Doody Fame. Banse has been a professional aritst for over 30 years. He was a co-partner in 3 art publishing businesses which specialized in Fine Art Limited Edition Lithography, Etchings adn other fine art mediums. While publishing his own work, he was also the Art Director of all three companies and had the pleasure of working with, directing, and instructing many great nationally and internationally known aritsts, such as Peter Max, Will Moses, John Pitre, Sarah Chirchill and Sarah Eyestone. Glen, focuses his energy on oilsand lithographs and presents a well diverified subject matter. He has works that have been commissioned by the state of New Jersey, and pieces that are on permanent display in the State Building of Garden State.
