Glen Fortune Banse

Born in Camden, New Jersey in 1948, Mr. Banse attended Ottawa University, Kansas State University, and the New School for Social Research in New York City. For over five years he was the art director for one of the leading publishers of lithographs in the United States. During this period, he personally instructed numerous artist such as: Peter Max, John Pitre, Sarah Churchill, Nissan Engel, Toni Kranjc, Yanni Posnakoff, Mr. Blackwell and William Nelson, in the field of lithography. Since 1975, Mr. Banse has been art director for Apple Arts, LTD., a leading publisher of fine art lithographs and prints. Concentrating on oils, he presents a well diversified subject matter. An investor in this artist’s work can be assured not only of the pleasure of possession but also satisfaction with ones wisdom of choice in selecting a painting of growing value.
