In 1968, the innovative artist Collette graduated from William Patterson College with a degree in art education. Her works transcend the conventional boundaries between art, design, fashion theatre and rchitecture. Collette's early years in Tunisia are reflected in the sensual exoticism of her lithographs and preformances works. Among the many museums and galleries which have exhibited Collette's works are Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, Ridgefield, Ct.; Bronx Museum, Museum of Modern Art and Whitney Museum of American Art, New York.
