Christina Sodano Aitchison grew up in a small beach town in New Jersey with beautiful landscapes, which inspired her to draw at a young age. Her parents saw her enthusiasm to paint so they enrolled her in private art lessons at the young age of 8. Christina's love for art continued through her high school years and into college.

As an undergraduate at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, Christina majored in illustration and concentrated in advertising. Illustration filled her love for art, while advertising gave her the ability to have a successful career, where at the same time she could build a portfolio as an artist.

In 1988 Christina moved to Scottsdale, Arizona and eventually started her own art business where she could enjoy the freedom and creativity of being a full-time artist. Christina now lives in California with her family, where she finds inspiration everywhere she looks.
