One of America’s great landscape painters, Bob Peters was born in upstate New York, but raised in Arizona, where he got a taste of the incredible desert scenes and the beauty of the outdoors that would inspire his later paintings. Peters worked as an illustrator in New York City for 12 years; his work was featured on the covers of magazines such as “US News and World Report” and he is a member of the Society of Illustrators. Peters draws inspiration from the western landscape, and his lovingly rendered works appear at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, the Autry National Center, the Eiteljorg Museum, and the National Museum of Wildlife Art.
