Bob Henley

A native of Roanoke, Virginia, Bob Henley grew up surrounded by nature. His love of nature and his efforts to protect it have inspired Henley to produce stunning wildlife paintings, prints, and posters. Henley often takes trips to the nearby Blue Ridge Mountains to see and study the wildlife that he paints. When speaking about his work, Henley says, “Accuracy and detail are vitally important to me because I really want others to see these animals as they really are. The only way I can show people what’s threatened in nature is to bring them close to it, through my paintings.” This love of nature shines through every brushstroke, and has made his work coveted by many collectors. Henley was also the featured artist for the 1995 Southeastern Wildlife Exposition. Henley’s greatest hope is that he will be remembered for helping in the preservation of wildlife and its habitat.
