A US citizen since 1981, Albert Shvilly was born and educated in the former Soviet Union. Attending the State University of Georgia, Shvilly studied both Fine Arts and Philosophy.

Shvilly is an internationally recognized artist with a multitude of one-man and group shows under his belt, and his art has appeared in numerous world publications, including LIFE magazine, The New York Times, and Le Monde. Among his distinguished awards are: the CINE Golden Eagle Award - for excellence in representing the United States of America in an international motion picture event abroad; the Silver Award from the International Film & TV Festival of New York; the Bronze Award from the Festival of the Americas at the Houston International Film Festival; and the Chris Plaque Award at the Columbus International Film Festival. Some of his corporate collectors include General Motors, McDonald’s Corporation, the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel, Seagram & Sons and the Sheet Metal Workers International Association.
