Teiro was born in Staten Island New York in 1960 in working class Italian neighborhood. He was his parent’s sixth child and even though he did not want to, he was certain that he would one day be part of the family construction company. Somewhere along the line Teiro began painting various images of hearts. This allowed him to express himself. At first it seemed to be an innocent admiration, but ultimately blossomed into a life’s work. “Love is lifes purest art form and one of true individual expression- I just try to bring out the feeling with canvas a brush and paint” says Teiro.
