Steve Young

Born in 1961 in Utah, Steve Young has made a name for himself in the world of professional football. After attending Brigham Young University where he performed well enough to earn him a position in the College Football Hall of Fame, Young was drafted in the first round of the 1984 NFL supplemental draft by the Los Angeles Express. After a single season with them, he joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and later, the San Francisco 49ers. Before retiring from playing professional football in 1999, Young collected dozens of awards, accolades, and recognitions. Among the many are seven Pro Bowl selections, three Super Bowl victories, a number of player of the year awards, and being named the Super Bowl XXIX MVP. Young was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005.
