Robert McKimson

Robert McKimson was one of the Animation Directors for Merrie Melodies and Looney Tunes. He later became the director for many of DFE Films (David H. DePatie & Friz Freeling) cartoons. After Leon Schlesinger was the producer of Warner Brothers. Merrie Melodies and Looney Tunes, DePatie & Freeling became the producers of the Warner Brothers-Seven Arts Cartoons and Warner Communications Company Cartoons, so Robert McKimson became the Director. Bill Lava was the music composer. These cartoons featured Road Runner, Cool Cat, or an unusual combination of Sylvester, Daffy, and Speedy. Some also featured Porky and Granny and Some of the cartoons are based on Storybooks. One of the Warner-Brothers Seven Arts Cartoons that were produced by DFE Films and was directed by Robert McKimson was "The AstroDuck"
