Pedro Diego Alvarado Rivera was born in Mexico City, Mexico the grandson of muralist Diego Rivera. He studied at the school of fine arts “La Esmeralda” at the Academy of San Carlos and at L’Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris, France. In the late 1970s he sketched and painted close to Henri Cartier-Bresson and later worked in studios of master artists Jessu Gallardo, Ricardo Martinez, Vlady and Armando Morales.
