Born in 1946 to a family of musicians, Brian Davis grew up loving the arts. While studying Fine Art at Pierce College and California State University-Los Angeles, Davis found inspiration in the works of the Dutch Masters as well at Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Emerging from University as a master of the Nineteenth-Century French painting technique “pouchoir,” Davis earned instant recognition as a serious painter and print-maker. Now known for his breathtaking floral pieces, Davis’s pieces can be seen in museums and private collections around the world.
