Entirely self-taught, Lovita Irby has been drawing since she was four years old. The early inspiration for her work was her many visits to her grandmother’s farm in Oklahoma, where she was awestruck by the natural beauty. Currently living in Texas, Irby has made a name for herself painting astounding images of bluebonnets, but she is versatile in both subject and style. For 27 years, Irby has been a featured guest artist at the Texas State Fair.
