Linda Le Kinff

Painter Linda Le Kinff lives in a world of poetry. Ordinary sights and scenes, like a woman holding a flower, or someone playing a guitar, are transformed by this artist into lush, color-drenched Impressionistic fairy tales on canvas. Born in Paris in 1949 to a French father and a Brazilian mother, Le Kinff steeped herself in the works of the Masters of the School of Paris from an early age. Artists like Matisse, Braque and Modigliani were her first inspirations, and she spent many years studying the Italian Renaissance and Baroque eras and the Old Master while experimenting with a variety of media.

Le Kinff attended the South Tyrol Academy of Art in Brunico, but had already had her first show by 1975 when she had her first major show at Galerie Hoche Saint-Honoré in Paris, and later that year at the Festival du Marais, also in Paris. This multi-faceted and multi-talented artist has since exhibited around the world.
