Jenifer Marcoux grew up inspired by the works of impressionists like John Singer Sargent. Working with a wide range of media, like acrylics, pastels, and charcoal, Marcoux incorporates impressionist imagery into her works. When speaking of her work, Marcoux states: "Each time I think I have accomplished my goal to recreate the glowing beauty of the light, I see a new sunset or sunrise which sends me back into the studio to pursue another effect."
