Yehoshua Front immigrated to Israel from Poland in 1957. He studied art under Yosef Swartzman, a painter of the German school, and trained with several other notable artists such as Avigdor Stimatzky and Moshe Rozentalis. Front has held solo exhibits in galleries across Israel as well as an exhibit at the Museum of Israeli Art in Ramat-Gan. His work has also been featured on book covers from multiple publishers.
