A nationally recognized wildlife artist, Wilhelm J. Goebel got his start at Ithaca College in New York, where he earned a degree in biology. After Goebel switched his focus to painting, his works have been featured in many publications, like Outdoor Life, national Wildlife, and Wildlife Art Magazine. Goebel was also chosen as the 2004 National Wild Turkey Federation Stamp Artist of the Year.
