Silvia Reisinger was born in 1965 in Kapfenberg Austria. From early on she enjoyed painting with very bright colors. The influence of French Post-Impressionist painting is quite evident in most of her work. Parisian born Omar H. Malva was where she drew most of her inspiration. Just as Malva, she primarily creates imagery of garden and still life scenes.

Reisinger most enjoys painting in Italy, Spain and Portugal. Here early works have made their way from the European market into the American art market.
