Ricardo Wolfson was born in 1950 in Buenos Aires, and he received a degree in Architecture at the University of Buenos Aires. Immediately upon completing his studies, he traveled to Europe where he worked for several years as an architect and graphic designer. It was during this time that he developed a proclivity for the Mediterranean coast and North Africa. He has since traveled the world, to places like Turkey, India, Nepal, Thailand, Bali and Japan, seeking inspiration and painting as he traveled. Wolfson has held many one-man shows both in the UK and abroad, including a very successful eighteen month tour that included Frankfurt, Venice, Copenhagen, London and Brussels and was extended to go throughout the United States.
