Working out of his studio on the Suffolk coast, UK artist Peter Williams expresses himself using a broad spectrum of media including graphite pencil, charcoal and pastel. However he is best known for watercolor, pushing the boundaries and achieving a unique vibrancy unequalled by many other watercolorists. His wide portfolio of subject matter includes traditional landscape, seascape, wildlife, portraiture and illustration as well as Western. Entirely self taught he has always had immense interest in the great outdoors, animals and wildlife. Coupled with his ability to paint portrait, it was a natural progression to begin producing Western and Native American images. Peter says "My Western paintings are not meant to be historically accurate. I concentrate on interpreting the spiritual side of Native American existence, Using dramatic color and movement to produce attractive and interesting artworks of wide appeal." Williams works are in private collections worldwide and have been published in many books and magazines.
