Rita Joyce, a California Artist, is known for her original paintings that capture and reflect shadow and light with a vibrant pallet. Joyce works in oils, watercolor or mixed media often enhancing her artwork with metal leaf, powders and collage. She utilizes creative visualization to compose prior to painting.

During her career as a professional Artist, Joyce has received numerous awards and participated in many group exhibitions and one-woman shows, including several at the Carnegie Cultural Center and at The Autry Museum Gallery. She has exhibited at the Los Angeles and New York Art Expos, Art 21-Art for the 21st Century. She has the honor of being included in Noel Goldblatt's ‘People of the Century’ collection.
