Marko Mavrovich is a self taught painter who has a passion for capturing the Beauty of sun light on ocean water, and verdant hillsides. Mavrovich's influences include his father, Miro, a watercolor artist, Winslow Homer, and the French Impressionists. Marko's works have been put on exhibit in the United States, Europe, Japan. It is in Croatia, the home of Mavrovich's heritage, where he has recieved considerable prestige and sucess in one man and group shows annualy since 1984. Recently Marko's fame has had a significant increase in Japan, where he has had two sell out shows which have further spread his international appeal.
