Enrique Alonso was born in Espinosa de Cerrato (Palencia), Spain, in 1950. He studied at the Escuela de Artes y oficios de Madrid. Using contemporary paint application, Alonso creates luminous creations on canvas depicting Spanish towns and street scenes. Alonso has exhibited at countless one-man shows in Madrid and other parts of Spain and is an honorary member of the Circulo de Bellas Artes.
