Christine Comyn began her formal artistic training at the Saint-Luke Academy in Ghent, Belgium. By 1981 she began teaching at the Academy of Modern Art in Tielt, Belgium. Ultimately Comyn wanted to focus on her own artistic development and expression. She began experimenting and learning water color techniques. A collection she had done was noticed by the Director of the Academy of Modern Art in Ostend, Belgium. Comyn was invited to exhibit her works at the esteemed Thermae Palace Hotel. Astoundingly in her first solo exhibit she sold her entire collection. Even with the request for Comyn's work increasing dramatically since becoming known as one of today's most in demand up and coming artists, the accomplishments Christine Comyn has enjoyed allows her to appease her primary goal which is to create exquisate and impressive works of art that are deserving of international acknowledgement.
