A native of Tbilisi, Georgia in the former USSR, Mindeli was born in 1976 into an artistic family. Her father, a renowned abstract painter instilled in her his love of art and the discipline it requires. Mindeli flourished under his tutelage, although her art took a path towards a more realist expression. At sixteen Mindeli enrolled in the Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts where she focused on art history and developed her creative talents. Deeply dedicated to pursuing an artistic career, Mindeli moved to the United States.

Frequently inspired by nature, Mindeli’s artwork is full of color and delicate floral designs. It is her conviction that external distress can be channeled and translated into creative beauty that drives much of Mindeli’s artistic endeavors.
