Marco began his career as a professional artist in the late 1980s when he sold his original paintings on the corner of Prince and Greene Streets in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood. Rising from such humble beginnings, Marco has become a world-renowned artist and has been commissioned to create paintings for public, private, and corporate collections. He has also been approached by countless United States and international magazines, television shows, and companies to create original art for their causes. Marco’s artwork has been on the cover of the New York Times Sunday Magazine and was featured on “American Idol. He was an official artist for the United States 2004 Olympic team, he painted the portraits of all of the NBA All-Star Players for 2003, and he has worked with numerous companies including Swatch, Express, Onward, Deutsche Telecom, and Gibson.

Marco also donates his time, money, and paintings to raise money for worthy causes. Among the recipients of his generous philanthropy are the Rainforest Alliance, the Gay and Lesbian Anti-Defamation League, Body Positive, United Cerebral Palsy, St. Vincent’s Hospital, and Mount Sinai Hospital. Marco is currently working on numerous intriguing projects including animation, children’s books, and a beautiful clothing and product line.
