Nina Weiss began studying art in New York at a very young age. She matriculated to the Tyler School of art in Philadelphia at sixteen, having skipped her last year of high school. She also completed her MFA in painting at the University of Madison, Wisconsin and also a Teaching Certification frmo the Art Education Department. Today she travels throughout the United States and abroad to gather material for her landscape drawings. She currently teaches at the Art Institute of Chicago, Columbia College and Evanston Art Center and her work is represented in some of the most prestigious collections in the United States.
