Marion McClanahan was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She has traveled with her family extensively throughout the Southwest and through North America and Europe. Her early impressions of Michigan, Kentucky, and Paris can be seen in her paintings. Her works have been exhibited at numerous shows, and can be found in collections throughout the United States as well as overseas.
